Don't waste time calling around for a better price, call us 1st
Recently a customer called us after booking his job with another locksmith he found in the yellow pages, he found us at the top of the yellow pages but ended up calling someone else. He booked the job, and waited for the locksmith to arrive. 45 minutes later the locksmith called the customer back and said he couldn't make it and he should call someone else!
So when the customer called us and told us what happened we asked, why didn't you call us 1st? He said he thought we would be too busy as we were at the top of the listing!
Moral of the story......call us 1st, we are available 24/7, we answer the phone, we advertise our pricing on our website, so you know exactly what you are up for and if we say we are on our way, we are!

Tips on how to avoid locksmith scams
1. Be cautious of a locksmith that answers calls with generic phrases like "locksmith" rather than a specific name. If a locksmith cannot or will not provide their legal business name, find another locksmith.
2. When the locksmith arrives, ask for identification, including a locksmith license if licences are applicable in your state or territory.
3. Get a quote before any work begins, especially emergency after hours calls.
4. Ask about extra charges for things like emergency rates, travel time, call out fees before you agree to have the work performed.
5. If the locksmith’s on-site price doesn’t match the phone estimate, don’t allow the work to be performed, unless there is a valid reason for the change i.e. the wrong information was provided over the phone or the lock is damaged inside and neither you or the locksmith could have foreseen the situation
6. Most legitimate locksmiths will arrive in a clearly marked van and will wear a company uniform.
7. If you’re locked out, be cautious of companies that recommend or insist on drilling or replacing the lock up front. Experienced locksmiths have the skills and tools to unlock almost any door, and will always attempt non-destructive entry techniques as the 1st option.
